What is the AZOMS Academic Advantage Program?
The AZOMS Academic Advantage program was designed to help students with interest in pursuing careers in either the medical or dental fields. If your child is interested in a future as a dentist, doctor, oral surgeon, or other medical specialist, the AZOMS Academic Advantage program is a great resource for them to learn more about accomplishing this goal. By bringing together a group of healthcare and education professionals, the AZOMS Academic Advantage program provides you and your child with valuable insight into the steps your child needs to be taking to achieve success.
Beginning these preparations now, before your child has entered high school or while your child is currently in high school, benefits them because it gives them a head start. It is never too early to pursue your goals, and it is especially never too early to start taking the steps needed to succeed. By attending this program, your child will gain invaluable knowledge and a helpful support system. If your child is looking for useful information regarding how to enter and succeed the medical and dental fields, and if they are in grades 6-12, we encourage you to RSVP for our upcoming session.
What will the students learn?
The AZOMS Academic Advantage program brings together professionals from both medical and education fields. This means that featured speakers at our event can help your child navigate success in both school as well as their future medical career. Student participants of the AZOMS Academic Advantage program can expect to learn about
- The rewarding aspects of a medical or dental career
- A typical daily routine of a dental/medical professional
- Necessary steps for finishing education and training in the healthcare field
- The process of college admissions
- Steps for making their college application unique
- How to get started on these steps right now
