Give the Gift of Life by Donating Blood
Did you know that a life is saved by donated blood every two seconds in our country? To maintain this precious supply of donated blood for people who require treatment and care, volunteers like you are needed every day. One blood donation can save three lives, and the very best way to start donating is to begin during the summer months when blood is needed most — research shows that during the summer, blood donations decline by more than 30 percent. You can truly make a difference because, if just an additional one percent of Americans started to give blood regularly, the blood shortage in our country would vanish. It takes only 8–10 minutes to donate blood!
Our oral surgeons, Dr. Robert Wood, Dr. Nicholas Coles, and Dr. Negin Saghafi, have partnered with United Blood Services Arizona to host a football-themed Community Blood Drive with the aim of saving lives in our community and around the country. Giving back to the community by donating blood is easy and quick, and it makes a remarkable difference — the blood supply in America depends on volunteers! Help us save lives by stepping up to donate at our upcoming blood drive. We will be hosting a raffle for tickets to the University of Arizona football games!
We thank you for your priceless gift of a second chance at life for people in need.
