At Arizona Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, your safety and comfort are of the utmost importance to us. One of the ways we ensure your safety is by providing you access to all of the information you need to feel confident about your care. During your first visit to our office, you will meet with one of our oral surgeons who will evaluate your oral health and create a treatment plan specific to your needs. It’s a great idea to come prepared with a list of questions so that we can address all of them at the consultation.
Please bring the following items to your first appointment:
Your referral paperwork and any X-rays that were given to you by your referring doctor (this may be sent ahead of time by your doctor, if applicable)
A list of any current medications or medical conditions
Any medical and/or dental insurance information
Parents of Minors
Patients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
What to Expect
Your first appointment will consist of an oral exam and consultation. This allows your surgeon to thoroughly review your condition, dental history, and medical history before creating your treatment plan. We will likely take 3D images and will answer any questions you have regarding treatment. In most cases, you will return to the office at a later date for your actual procedure.
3D Scanning
Our offices use advanced CBCT imaging equipment to take detailed scans of your head, neck, mouth, and face.
